The final member to finish the talk within +-3 seconds of final bell at 180 seconds and he will the warning bell at 160 sec.

  1. The MC will introduce the chapters taking part in the GFC

  2. The order in which the MC introduces the Chapter and that will be the order of their participation in the competition. Each chapter will have exact 3 members in the team.

  3. The MC will introduce the judges and timekeeper and volunteer at dedicated round table. MC will explain the criteria for the benefit of the audience and a reminder for the participant.

  4. The first chapter in sequence shall be seated at a dedicated round table below the stage. The chapter shall pickup a chit from a bowl of chits placed on the table after the bell. A nominated volunteer shall be present here for help.

  5. Each chapter gets 60 seconds to think/discuss on the topic. After 60 seconds a bell shall ring, and the team goes on the stage for delivering the talk.

  6. One of the members (Group leader) introduces the team members

  7. The Group leader will also state who will starts, continues and ends the fantasising.

  8. The first fantasiser announces the topic and starts fantasising.

  9. Each team gets total 180 seconds to fantasise. The timer starts from 0, when the first fantasiser starts the talk after announcing the topic. At the end of 55th seconds, there would be warning bell. Based on the self-judgement, the first fantasiser is expected to finish his talk by 65 seconds max, He says “pass” after which the second fantasizer continues. There would be another warning bell at 115th seconds, and the second fantasiser is expected to finish his talk by max 125 second. He says “pass” after which the third (final) fantasizer now continues. There would be another warning bell at 160 seconds, and the final bell shall be at 3m00s (180Sec).

  10. The first fantasiser starts with the “exposition” and gets to the “rising action”; the second fantasiser takes the story from rising action to the “climax”; the third fantasiser takes on from the climax and gets to the “falling action” and “conclusion”.

  11. The next chapter team in sequence, shall move to the dedicated round table, when the earlier chapter has moved on the stage. At the end of 2m40s (warning bell of the ongoing chapter talk), they shall pickup the chit, and shall get bell after 40 seconds after the ongoing chapter final bell is rung. (so total 20sec + 40 sec = 60 seconds for thinking/discussing the topic). This continues for all the chapters till last chapter comes on stage.

*Please note: Instead of a manual timer operation, it would be good idea to have, a programmed timer in mobile/laptop with audio out to manage the automatic bell sounding at various time points, to avoid mistakes by timekeeper.
